We looked at a home in Rolling Hills last week. It's on the outskirts of Tequesta (more Hobe Sound area). We liked the house, but it was way too close to route 1 and the car noise was not to our liking. The houses in this smaller neighborhood are big and most looked like they were built custom for the original owners. We didn't see any kids around and we didn't feel like they were any around either...

another poster on this forum commented on some crime waves that roll though this and it's neighboring gated property "Indian Hills"

Overall, as a family with two kids, we didn't feel it was a good option...really nice houses though.

Rolling Hills is gated, Indian Hills is not. But in reality the gate at RH can be bypassed by simply walking around it.

For me if you can't buy on the water in either then it isn't worth buying there.....the dry lot homes are nothing special and both are too far off the beaten path.

Agree and then you are paying inflated insurance because of the proximity to the water!
