Hello Everyone,

I am in extreme dire need of full-time employment.
I have faxed and emailed resumes, signed up and interviewed, and rather not go the job placement agency route.....unfortunately I've just had no luck. I'm in Palm Beach county and would prefer employment in the Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, or Palm Beach Gardens areas.

If anyone knows of anywhere that's actually hiring, please let me know. I have a Bachelor's in Advertising & and a degree in Teaching, with 5 year experience in Training & Development & Promotions Management. I am seeking similar work.

Thanks in Advance. All Postive Replies Welcomed

Solaris,

If you are looking for a job try an entry one just to get something and network with Florida Jobs. They are a great source of info that can lead to a job. I suggest looking at the following sites. I'll do further research during the week and see if I can get you something in the area. I'm in the Gov Aerospace Industry in Northwest Florida, if you can work in airplanes I got a job for you.

Hate to tell you this, but my husband (with an MBA) has been trying to get a job for over one year, and we decided even with a GREAT job, makin $80,000. we still can't afford to live here like we want to. We are relocating up to St Augustine when school ends this year. Companies NEVER called him back, even when they said they would. Very difficult finding work!!!

Join the FL unemployment club.

FL creates a lot of jobs, yes, but they are mostly minimum wage jobs or Disney-type jobs (which pays minimum wage and treats you like crap). They are crappy jobs, not high paying or professional jobs. Very few good full-timejobs out there.

I am moving out of state early next year. I work in the legal field (I have a Bachelor's degree), but they are paying an illegal alien from Venezuela to do my job, because it is cheaper. Try to call Immigration or ICE.... they don't do **** about it. They are too busy looking for the millions of criminal illegal aliens, which seem to be evrywhere in FL. I can't blame ICE.. they are doing all they can, but are severely understaffed.

Oh, Teaching is under the H-1B visa "temporary professional" worker. These foreign workers never leave because they keep renewing the visa and teachers have no cap (schools and colleges can import these aliens non-stop, anytime pretty much), so teaching jobs will pay less and less due to increase in the # of foreigner teachers.

Welcome to FL, man. I feel bad for you too, but I am in the same boat.

Thanks Sunrico.
Yes, we are on top of all the sites, he's been in contact with Aerotek, the thing is they are more into engineering type stuff. He is more creative than administrative but he might just have to suck it up and take something like that (has a solid offer in Tallahassee).
