I dont think Boca or WPB is congested at all.....
Of the two, I guess west palm is cuz it's got a higher population than Boca, but still... it;s basic rush hour type stuff, but beyond that traffic isn't really a thing.

If you are in actual city limits of WPB, traffic is pretty much a non-issue, except downtown at rush hour. The congestion is in the unincorporated morass immediately to the west of the city that gets a WPB address because it's the closest municipality.

Boca to me has always been way more congested than the City of WPB. It recently took me 1/2 an hour to drive from the hospital to the mall along Glades Road. A distance of maybe 3 miles, if that.

Why is it still unincorporated? Why is Westgate its own area on the census but it uses a WPB address?

Why on earth would the tax payers of WPB agree to annex a poor neighborhood that would immediately mean a net drain on taxes having to be spent to patrol, provide services to and upgrade infrastructure? Half the homes in that neighborhood probably barely exceed homestead exemption in value, so tax revenue would be miniscule.

It'd also probably mean an uptick in crime stats for the city, as it's not exactly the safest place to be.

I certainly wouldn't vote for it!
