Hello All,

We currently live in Delray (work in Boca). My brother lived in Abacoa for years and recently moved to Rialto. We are interested in relocating to Jupiter or Tequesta as we are starting our own family soon. We have driven around quite a bit.

We aren't thrilled about a townhouse, would prefer a single family home with a small yard, we can't afford Rialto. probably looking at a max 350,000, but very interested in a family friendly area with lots of kids. I'm not crazy about Jupiter Heights too close to the throughway. Ultimately i would love to be zoned for Limestone Creek Elementary and Jupiter High.

Any suggestions on where to focus our search or ideas to look into? Any names of neighborhoods to look at?

Thank you all!

The Maplewood Communities would have a few homes to offer for you, but those aren't zoned for Limestone.
Might find something just over $350k in the Shores, but a lot of those are frame.

We used to live in Penn Park, sandwiched in between Center St and Indiantown Rd. Although our house was on a thru street (Philadelphia Drive), in the 15 years that we lived there we never had issues. My kids walked to Jupiter Elementary and Jupiter High. We were 3 miles from Jupiter Middle. Everything was very walkable/bike able from our house and very kid friendly. These houses for the most part were built in the 1960s-70s and would be in your budget, should you want to look in that area.

And the yards are a den cent size, ours was just under a 1/4 acre

It would be very difficult to find a home in your budget in The Shores even if woodframe, which really isn't anything to be afraid of if you have a good inspector. I have owned a woodframe in the Shores for 10 years with no more issues than a concrete block constructed home.

Some neighborhoods in Tequesta are zoned for Limestone Creek. You may find something there.
