Talk to an agent that can shop multiple companies.

I have Travelers. It's not cheap, but not as expensive as some people are paying. (About 140/month for 100/300 coverage).

Florida is a no fault state, that is why the rates are high. It does not matter who is at fault, you get paid. When this went into effect, we were told that rates would go down. WHAT A JOKE. There are fewer law suits, but rates have not gone down... the insurance companies "keep the change".

I had to drop full coverage on all my vehicles just to be able to "pay" for insurance. I didn't say afford it because I can't. The insurance lobbyist have bought off the Florida legislators here and the people are being raped.
