Hello, we are thinking of relocating to Florida. Looking at Jacksonville or Palm Beach. Any ideas of best locations to live? Safe, near the beach perhaps, etc. Any assistance will be appreciated. Our options are open, but want to make sure we go into the correct area. thanks

Those are very different options. Do you work? Securing a job first might help you decide. Do you plan to buy or rent? How much do you plan to spend? Do you have children? There are many factors to consider.

Elbig,

My work allows me to work from home, so I can work anywhere in the USA. We have no young children, so not worry about school districts or children commuinities. We are planning on renting as we are only staying for 4 years before we can move permanently to Costa Rica. Thanks!!

Hey! I moved to the West Palm Beach area from Algonquin a little over 4 years ago and I love it! I live in the Renaissance Commons development in Boynton Beach, so I'm just a couple minutes from 95 and about 5 minutes from the beach. It's great.

I welcome you to email me if you'd like any additional information or have any questions - my email address is ybiaw28@gmail.com

I'd suggest coming down and visiting for a bit and spending some time at the areas you like. Jacksonville and Palm beach are pretty different. Just in Palm beach there is a wide variety of options that might fit your needs. You didn't give enough information so I can only assume you're at the very start of your search. Vacation for a couple of weeks and narrow down your list and then get serious about asking pros and cons of each.
