WPB is a snap. In and out no problems. Clean airport too. More English being spoken as an aside....Also the traffic to and from the airport is easier than FLL ime.

I don't understand people commenting on snotty people at airports LOL. Who cares WHO is in the airport if they're snotty.

Try freaking ORLANDO if you wanna get annoyed in 30 seconds with all the families.

My last flight I heard the father say to the kid, while boarding, OK no more throwing up now for the next three hours, ok?

wtf.

Both are fairly quiet and friendly compared to most airports. I fly out of FLL quite a lot and always show up an hour early and have never had any problems.

Ditto on FLL and PBI...I personally like PBI, nice smaller airport getting in and out has never been
a problem for me...Have flown in and out of FLL too, just not as close to me as PBI...Definitely
stay away from Miami at all costs...terrible airport and like the previous person stated, you need
to speak Spanish to get around, at least that was my experience..it's like a foreign country down there...

Since this is a rather old thread, I'm assuming the OP has already found his/her answer...however for other people with the same question I can say that I fly into/out of FLL every three weeks and the airport is a breeze. I usually fly out of the terminal with Jetblue and am rarely in the security line for more than 5-10 minutes. Last time I flew with Delta and there wasn't any line whatsoever for TSA.

Sidenote which probably doesn't effect most people: TSA in FLL (and I'm assuming in most South FL airports) actually know what SCUBA gear is. Getting a regulator and dive computer through FLL is much easier than doing so in DC.

Happy flying.

Smile FLL vs PBI

First of all, I love the Fort Lauderdale Airport as far as drop off and pick up.
We usually fly out of Fort Lauderdale - just more non stop flights.

I'm just not as used to the West Palm airport but I will say one time my husband and I were running late and we were running, they let us go to the front of the security line and we made the flight. Boy, was that tight! But we made it.

I have never encountered rudeness at either airport.

Wow..almost everyone agrees...I came from NYC and dread Newark, LaGuardia, and Kennedy. PBI and FLL are truly great airports. Have NEVER had a problem in either of them.
