Less than Oviedo. Interesting.

Boca ranges from this 14mm house:
450 E Coconut Palm Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33432 - Home For Sale and Real Estate Listing - realtor.com®

to condos the price of cheap cars (35K)
11 Sw 4th Ave Apt 2, Boca Raton, FL 33432 - Home For Sale and Real Estate Listing - realtor.com®

These two properties are about 2 miles apart. Crazy part is the buyer/owner of the 35K condo will speak about Boca Raton like he/she is living in the 14 million dollar estate!

You are dead on correct!

That is exactly what I find so incredibly bizarre about so many people in Boca.

I lived there for 17 years and have seen it many times. I still have extended family that lives there and if you listened to them you would think they are rich (and they are not and in fact don't even live in the city limits!).

To me the worst were the NY/NJ transplants living in a rental apartment out west and taking selfies at the beach like their apartment is on the ocean! Remember to keep up the "I'm from Manhattan" vs. the actual Staten Island routine.

I've met countless people from NJ who first say they're from Manhattan and eventually it comes out they're from NJ... what is that??!!!

And it is amazing how many people think Boca is all mansions, spas and golf courses. Boca has ghettos, folks. I've seen Boca SWAT on condo lawns chasing criminals.

Boca's ghetto is called Pearl City:

Boca has trailer parks, Boca has 50-60 yr old 1200 sq ft ranch houses too. 15-20% of Boca is mansions, 60% is white collar housing and the rest is lower income retirees.

Agreed. Boca is .....Boca. And the median income is waaaay less than Oviedo's, but totally different attitudes. Strange.
