It'll certainly be a whole different world over here! I grew up in a small town, and coming here is almost like a culture shock. Not in a bad way. Just different! Goodl luck on your move and have fun!!!

That area is right on the edge of ghetto so lock your cars, don't leave anything you care about in an open pickup bed as it won't be there long.

Don't go crazy on restaurants as they are going to be very expensive compared to WV. If you want a great local place for a $100+ dinner try Okeechobee Steakhouse at Palm Beach Lakes and Okeechobee Blvd across from the BMW dealer.

Downtown West Palm Beach has plenty of restaurant options for you. I like cityplace, which is off of Okeechobee, its a good mixed residential and commercial area. Given that you are so close to the PBO, there is a lot of shopping and restaurant options in that immediate area. Don't be afraid to explore the area and the cities that surround you.

If your set on that area Wellington is pretty well established. I prefer South Palm Beach County,Boca is great.Usually this page has lots of helpful tips. You may have to either start a new thread, this one is several months old and some may ignore it. A good realtor in the Wellington area can be very helpful also. Good luck.
