No, there is not a question.

The initial post is an informative observation of a retail center in Delray Beach being redeveloped. Plans include Publix replacing an existing older store with a new store.

Thanks Carolina. We were wondering what was going on. It's been a deserted plaza for so long.

I noticed they changed the location of the bus stop as well.

We'll miss that Publix as it undergoes renovation, that's for sure.

My coworkers and I often stop there before or after work, and people come from outside the neighborhood just to go to that Publix as it is such a friendly store.

Carolina, I also look forward to the Publix they're building in Manalapan. It's on my way home from work and I'm sure it will be a good one.

Looking forward to Chipotle!

Default Publix #195, 4771 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida 33445-3838

Publix is making investments in its older stores statewide. Investments are either improving the existing stores with remodels and the addition of a pharmacy department and a liquor store, or replacing the stores through rebuilds or new locations at or nearby the existing stores. Publix #195 is an older store that is being replaced by a newer store.

Publix is speculated or is in the process of acquiring property at the southwest quadrant of West Atlantic Avenue and Southwest Sixth Street for a 25,000-square-foot store. Publix's smallest prototype is 28,000 square feet (28m).
