Delray Commons is a 74,000-square-foot retail center located at the southwest quadrant of West Atlantic Avenue and South Military Trail in the City of Delray Beach in Palm Beach County, Florida.

The Kroger Company, through its entity Topvalco, acquired Delray Commons for $15,000,000 and an outparcel bank for $2,000,000.

A Kroger store has not been announced for the location yet. Any new store Kroger has opened has been a Kroger Marketplace hypermarket. Kroger Marketplace is a direct competitor to Walmart Supercenter and SuperTarget. Its stores range in size from 90,000 to 120,000 square feet.

Delray Commons does not have full access to West Atlantic Avenue and South Military Trail. All accesses are right in/right out.

I have heard speculation specialty organic/gourmet grocer Lucky's Market could open a store at Delray Commons.

This is interesting.

I wonder where they’re going to put the Luckys Market. In other words-who will have to leave.

There’s a Winn Dixie in the plaza on the northwest corner across the street.

Just up the street on Military is The Boys Market, long a staple in Delray.

They sell all the standard farmers market stuff as well coffee, baked goods, canned goods etc., cheese etc suitable for vegans and sandwiches and meals.

The place is always packed . It’s right next to the post office. With an intersection and driveway right next to each other, the area is a big traffic hazard.

It’s a good location for Luckys . TJs and Fresh Market are all the way down on Linton and Federal.

Great as The Boys is the crowds are just sooo annoying.

Publix is located in Delray Square on the northeast corner of Atlantic and Military . That plaza is being remodeled.

Default Lucky's Market, Delray Commons, 5060 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida 33484-8129

I think Lucky's Market will open in the former Delray Fitness. Delray Fitness' predecessor appears to be a supermarket.

That’s what I was thinking . I haven’t been to that plaza in a while as the gang stopped going to CJs. Don’t even know if CJs is still there.

The new CVS being built at the intersection is huge. We look forward to the Chipotle coming to the Publix plaza, Delray Square.
