Where should I be doing my grocery shopping in W Boca? It would nice to see many young people with families at these stores. Sigh, I will miss Wegmans soooo much. Is there anything that compares in W boca?

There is nothing that compares to Wegman's anywhere outside of the NE. Wegmans is absolutely amazing and I have wrote to them about coming to Florida. You could always try Whole Foods, although that's down by FAU in east Boca. Your closest Whole Foods out there would be in Coral Springs.

Truth be told, if you are looking to be around young families, you shouldn't be either grocery shopping or living in Boca Raton. I would be looking into west Boynton or Wellington or if you don't have any objection to living in Broward County (many do for some reason), Parkland or Coral Springs. West Boca has more young families than central or most of east Boca, but it's still Boca. Families in PBC live in Wellington.

But if you have an obligation to live in Boca or work in Boca, you could try the Publix at Glades Rd and SR7. It's very busy but it's a nice store and the shoppers are at least younger than other parts of Boca.

WEGMANS!!! When I was in college we used to get drunk and graze our way through Wegman's in Rochester. I LOVED Wegmans.

Whole Foods is nice, but Publix is probably closer to Wegman's than any other supermarket down here. Old people dominate in Boca Raton. I assume you knew that when you moved there

Smile Publix

I think there is a large Publix - Reserve Shopping Center - you will feel right at home; there are young families out there - Clint Moore & 441.

Pick up an issue of The Parklander - you will see tons and tons of ads.

Other then Publix you will have Albertsons and Winn Dixie to choose from. Then the more expensive places like The Fresh Market and Whole Foods.
