I made an earlier post about moving up North from Miami. My only issue was a potential commute problem to my office in Miami Lakes, but with this whole pandemic, I've been working from home full time and have already discussed with my boss only having to come into the office 2 or so days a week once this is over.

Soooo ) ... now I'm totally cleared to basically move anywhere up North! Since the last post I made (where I got great feedback, btw) ... I've definitely decided that I love the Coconut Creek area over by the Promenade. However, now that I'm not fully restrained to having to be right off the highway for easy access to Miami Lakes, I want to cover all my bases and make sure Coconut Creek is the best option in comparison. I think I'm most curious about Boca because it seems like a lot of fun people live there.

Basically, I'm a 37 year old girl from Missouri who grew up in the suburbs, so I do love suburbia. I'd like to get out of high rise living. I do love the beach and currently live on it, but a really nice pool and driving distance to the beach would suffice for me. I like clean, nice, affluent-ish areas. My budget is roughly $1900/month for a 1 bedroom.

Would love to hear your thoughts

Have you spent a lot of time in Boca?
Bars,restaurants, malls?

If you have and like the people there and want a newer complex, the ones you listed near Congress and Yamato would be a good choice.

Maybe consider looking for something closer to Mizner Park?
Just a thought

I read your other post asking about 2 apartments. The one near Broken Sound is a nice area and upscale but in my opinion more for families and seniors. I'm not familiar with the apartments but in general Central Boca is. I lived in the area in my early 30s. I definitely didn't get the cool young vibe you are speaking about.

Missouri is a beautiful state free of South Florida's ongoing social problems, cultural clashes, over-population, illegals. Perhaps moving back to the midwest is a smart decision plus closer to family?

The Broken Sound apartments had a drug deal gone bad there a couple years back, kid died. My buddy lived one building away at the time.

Lol wtffff. Um. Missouri is one of the most racist, segregated states in the union. Ongoing social problems and illegals? Perhaps sticking the point of the original post is a smart decision. You’re preaching to the wrong girl with that crap

Personally, I am a foodie and I prefer Boca since there is a wider range of food places. Coconut Creek has the nice shopping area but so does Boca. Deerfield may be cheaper than the other two. So, it is all up to you as to what you are looking for. But, you have some good options listed.
