Hi,

I'm planning on coming to the area later in the month, and would love to get some help in planning which beach areas to visit for nightlife and what to skip. Prefer places that are

a) Open and not under lockdown right now of course
b) Friendly local people, upscale lounges (vs. dive bars) if possible and good to mingle

Would prefer to get a taste of various areas and not just spend 5-days in Las Olas Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale for example.

Something similar to this, if you can help me skip the sleepy areas:
- Day 1: West Palm Beach Downton
- Day 2: Delray Beach Downtown
- Day 3-4: Ft. Lauderdale Las Olas

Any tips on specifics to go to? Are hotel bars popular in the area or are they usually quiet?

Really appreciate any insights you locals can give.

Thank you!

I think you've got the right itinerary. There isn't much nightlife outside of those 3 areas in Broward and Palm Beach County. Unless you want to drive an hour and a half or two to Miami and South Beach, that's pretty much it.

South Beach night clubs aren't even open right now. E77leven, Story, LIV are all closed.

I like The Wilder, Louie Bossi, S3, The Rooftop, and YOLO in Fort Lauderdale for upscale lounges. In particular check out The Wilder. It's very swank.

In Delray the upstairs outside bar at Elisabettas. I like to eat at City Oyster.

In Palm Beach I like Taboo. Downtown West Palm Beach Restoration Hardware is really cool.
