Hi everyone, I received a job offer in Boca Raton. I have some questions about Boca Raton before deciding to accept this job. For now I need to rent an apartment and I don't need of a big apartment because for the moment I would come alone. Another question, How are the schools? and the public transport? Boca Raton is a safe city?
Thank you all for any answers.

Public transportation in South Florida is not reliable.
Boca has good and bad areas.

You can find apartments for rent on Zillow and Trulia.

There are no bad areas in the city of Boca - anyone suggesting such has a warped sense of what’s good and bad. There is maybe one neighborhood I wouldn’t live in, solely because of desirability, but the city is extremely safe and desirable.

The city of Boca Raton is home to the most monstrous people in all of North America, and most of them are from New York.

As with most things in life.. it just depends....
Public transport exists, but it's cumbersome and annoying to navigate.. Life is much easier with a car.
Schools can be good, but it depends which one your son or daughter goes to.
Yeah, over all Boca is pretty safe, however like anywhere, Boca is not immune to crime and criminals. If common sense measures are taken, you should be fine.

Also, don't listen to clowns calling people from NY "monstrous." What an obvious nutjob. Like, ok "bert"....like anyone is gonna listen to some bozo on the internet named "bert..." That name alone is enough to not take him/her seriously.
Boca is pretty diverse with a sizeable population of people from the northeast. NY, NJ, PA, Mass, CT, etc. My experience has been largely positive.
