Where to live advice - mid-20s (Miami, West Palm Beach: apartment complexes, rent)

There is a very likely chance that I will be moving to the area in the fall to take a job near the Town Center in Boca. I am in my mid-20s, single, and would be moving to the city for a well-paying job where cost is not an overwhelmingly important part of my decision process. I want to move to a nice area with a decent social life, things to do, people to meet/date, normal things like that. I intend to live in a single apartment, something with an in-unit washer/dryer, AC, fitness center in the building. I expect to get a car upon my move.

Through initial research, it seems like I should primarily be deciding between living in Boca or Delray. Does anybody have advice on which city might be better for a young adult not concerned with things like housing costs or local education systems? Even beyond which city is better, any insight on nice areas within the cities or particular apartment complexes I should keep an eye out for would be greatly appreciated!

Ahhh to be be young and making good money...exciting - keep it up!

Whenever I see a young mid 20s single making good money, (65k plus IMO) relatively extroverted and Palm Beach County is a must, my default recommendation is usually Delray Beach(an argument can be made for both Boca & West Palm Beach though).

Reason being is that East Atlantic is really just that good...probably the best restaurant scene in all of South Florida outside of Miami. Since you have no car as of yet, do yourself a favor and just pay the extra rent for one of those trendy apartments off/near Atlantic and you’ll be walking distance of all the action and not have to worry about parking which sucks on the weekends and even sometimes during happy hour.

Look into SOFA (South of Atlantic Luxury Apartments).

I'd look at Deerfield island as well if you're working in Boca. Deerfield has a great beach area and pier. East Delray and East Boca are good too.

Definitely East Atlantic area in Delray Beach.
