We are considering buying a house in Wellington. Two we have looked at are both short sales around $250k. One is in Sugar Pond Manor and the other is on Carlton Ave in Greenview Shores 2.
From a cursory drive through the neighborhoods, Sugar Pond Manor looks very well kept and really nice. Greenview Shores 2 had several "multi-unit buildings" within a block or two. It seems to us like Greenview Shores 2 has more potential for the area to go "down".
Any thoughts?

A former co-worker of mine lives in Sugar Pond and loves the area.

As far as Greenview Shores, are you speaking of the neighborhood behind the shopping center? If so, I think I know of the multi-unit buildings you're speaking of (know someone who lives there as well). And yeah, they're not really kept up. My friend that lives in that area has a landlord that refuses to deal with anything.

I'd definitely say Sugar Pond, hands down.
