If humidity triggers your attacks you might have a problem here most of the year. A more desert environment may be better for you.

Thanks in advance...
I had asthma bad when I was a little kid living in Cleveland, Ohio. I used to have to get a shot of something-or-other every week, I had an inhaler, pills, a "vaporizer", etc. One of the excuses my mom used to move to Florida (she loved it there from vacations she'd taken, she had an aunt in Miami, she hated the cold, etc.) was that the doctor suggested moving to either Florida or Arizona, or "someplace like that", because he said my asthma attacks would be lessened in a warm climate. As an adult, knowing a bit more about science and medicine, the advice sounds questionable to me now, but nonetheless, my asthma did get gradually better in South Florida, and I "grew out of it" by the time I was in high school.

Winter tends to be 70's-low 80's...with an occasional cold-front that could drop the temp in the day as low as 58 degrees, with night-time wind chills in the 30's and 40's. But those fronts last maybe 3 days. The Spring and Fall have day time temps in the 80's.
Oh, and we have Hurricane season June 1st - Nov 30th.
IMHO I'd just divide it into 2 seasons: an 8-month summer with lots of rain usually in July and August when the temperature is usually in the 90s (a time or two while I've been here hit 100) and the dry season (my favorite) which usually begins in January, although some years we get blessed with cooler temperatures earlier or at least a temporary reprieve. Then, after a week or two of "cold" during January, and sometimes one in February, we can suddenly go back to 80s, then when least expected may drop to the 60s for another week. But we do get a lot of days in the 70s which to me is just PERFECT, there's also a nice breeze which I like. March can actually sometimes be pretty windy as it is in other parts of the E. Coast.
