Tequesta is in my opinion the far better of the three, with Jupiter second and Palm Beach Gardens a distant third. Tequesta is way less congested and very safe with easy access to Jupiter's shops/services.

We lived here for a year while my wife worked at the airport. It is beautiful and safe! Eastpoint, Palm Beach Gardens Real Estate - Eastpoint Rentals

Thank you for the replies. Any possibility of there being an apartment for under $1000 a month in any of these three areas that is not garbage? (size of the apartment does not matter)

You can find quite a few two bedroom condos for rent in the $1200-$1400 range, so a one bedroom should be at or below your maximum budget. I would check with realtors in Tequesta for rental info.

Let me know if you have any luck in that price range.
I've been looking and it seems $1k is the lowest rent in those areas.

I think Robyn is alluding sarcastically to such ghetto areas to the south of Jupiter as Palm Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Weston, Miami Beach, Coral Gables...the list goes on and on.

Depends on what you are looking for? Are you a retiree, a young family? Where will you work if you are working? Each area has its strength/weakness.
