It seems like everywhere in America, mass transit is popping up and being built. I know Palm Beach has tri-rail, but I think it would be a lot bettter if it connected something? Do you think it would be a good investment if Palm Beach built a light rail in the downtown area, or would that just be a waste of money? Just thinking out loud.

Well, Tri-Rail essentially has a stop in the downtown area. As for light rail to get around downtown, the area is much too small, and is already served by a free trolley that isn't used as much as it probably should be.

I hope the plan to place a commuter line on the FEC tracks goes forward. Would be nice to catch a train in Jupiter and head to downtown WPB, LW and points south without driving...

As Native 51 said, I think it's time they expanded Tri-Rail north to Jupiter, but there's no need for mass transit in downtown West Palm yet. It's not crowded enough. Still quite easy to get around by car.
