We placed an offer on a B of A short sale in May of 2009 and have STILL not hear back. I am looking for any advice, direction, contact referral information - anything or anyone who could possibly point me in the right direction. There is a 2nd on the house but we have even already got a response from them and NOT the 1st, which is B of A. It is ridiculous that I have not even gotten a response in this long! 2 appraisals have been done since the 1st expired.

Please!!! Anyone who can help would be greatly apprecaited!

Smile Short sale

Is the home listed? Is there a listing agent on it?

Title company?

Yes all paperwork has been submitted properly - MORE THAN ONCE! The Seller calls the bank frequently the title company calls DAILY and all the bank says is we are working on it and we will expedite your file. I think my file has been expedited 8 times!

and sorry - yes there is a listing agent, I was in the market looking to buy and my broker actually had a partner who listed the property. So my broker technically is the seller and buyers agent.

Send emails to the CEO and also Barbara J. Desoer. Unless you have authorization from the seller, they will not give you any information but you can request their assistance and they will contact the negotiator to expedite your sale.

Mailing and email Address and contact numbers for BA - Loans, Debt & Credit

Good luck.

B of A has been notorious for being late on short sales and even forclosures.

I guess a few weeks ago they introduced new policues to realtors. Not sure if the existing contracts were grandfathered in or need to be re-submitted based on these new policies or procedures. Sorry to be vague but that is feedback from the realtor I was working with.

Is the Realtor calling BOA EVERY day????? You need a PRO ACTIVE Realtor to handle this! An attorney couldn't hurt either! Good luck! I bought a short sale in NC years ago and it took a long time (6 months) If you really want the house you need the right people to represent you!

Smile Keep calling

Just got one approved from 09/09. Incidentally, it was going to foreclosure next week after 26 months.

Thank God we have the file all ready to close

I hate working with BOA...
The new guidelines of the HAFA program are supposed to take place April 5th. Here's a breakdown. Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives Program (HAFA)
In theory this would make everything much better, well see if the banks actually follow them...
