After reading what you are looking for I think Wilmington/ Wrightsville Beach would be perfect for you. Downtown has thriving nightlife, great restatraunts (service industry opps) Cape fear Community College and cool affordable apartments all in a historic district on the river where everything is in walking distance. Also lots of movies are filmed here so getting some work as an extra would be possible. 10 minutes from there you have Wrightsville Beach with cool bars and restaraunts on the water. Truely one of the best beaches on the east coast; that is if you like beautiful people, neat bars, good food, boats, surfing, white sand and bluewater! Another pro for the area is that it isn't all that seasonal. The college (UNCW) has about 15,000 students now and the area as a whole in exess of 100,000. Check it out.

I'm an attractive female and am not worried about finding a serving job. I do want to go to school but only if i decide i want to live there for the next 3 years. I'm just looking to get away for a while, live in a new city, meet new people, and miss winter because i am tired of snow!!!

Don't know about the banking industry, but if you work for a national chain, see if there are any connections to exploit.

Whatever you do, come down with savings and a job lined up!

This area is gorgeous! I lived here for about 2 years and loved every minute. It's great for young-er people, and safer than Miami. You will love it here!

Why do you want to move the West Palm Beach? Have you ever been here, do you have connections or family here?
