Quincy's Walmart Supercenter back on course* - News - The Charleston Gazette - West Virginia News and Sports -

Quincy Walmart could open next year * - News - The Charleston Gazette - West Virginia News and Sports -

Walmart has decided to go forward with its Eastern Kanawha County Store. It was planned to be built in 2007, but the economy held it back.

The store will be beside Riverside High School and the Quincy Mall, which includes a Krogers and a Magic Mart.

I'm ready for the new store because the other two Wally Worlds in Kanawha County are too busy

Why couldn't this have been built when I went to Tech? Argh. But I really like the look of that Weirton store.

People already shop at Walmart. That's not going to change, they're just going to stay closer to home, instead of traveling 45 minutes out to Southridge. And the number of jobs this new store is going to bring it will be great for the area.

Let's see...there in Quincy is a Kroger's, Magic Mart, Rite Aid, a tanning/video place, and I think a Hallmark store.
