This thread makes me sad: //www.city-data.com/forum/north...need-help.html I suppose I could refute the negativity about Martinsburg, but I'm not in a very argumentative mood.

Most of the posts are talking about the "downtown" part of Martinsburg. I don't disagree with that part and other parts of downtown being sketchy..heck even down right frightning in places. I think everybody looks at Martinsburg and associates it with the rest of the county.

Yeah, I agree that parts of downtown are pretty sketchy, I just find it sad that people are getting a negative impression of this entire area based on that.
