It's hard to find...but the food is simply incredible.

In Fairmont, behind the Phillips Lightings Plant lies a great 70's style diner.

Can sit about 100 and has a layed back atmosphere, for sure.

The coffee is the best I've ever sampled and the pot is endless.

My favorite is the Western Omlette with home fries and sausage gravy.

Three times this week I had a craving for something good and traveled southward for that epicurian delight around 3 am.

Yes, they are open 24-7 and will treat you just like family...

Pricketts Fort Exit off I-79...towards Fairmont, take the Right before the Novellis Plant...about 1 mile..just look for the lights and the huge parking lot..

If its around 2 or 3 am..you might see me there...lol

Don't miss this great diner...

Had a late breakfast this morning at 6 am...evidently they serve a sunday breakfast buffet..

Service was great...coffee was incredible...waitress in college and showed a pic of the 22 lb salmon she caught in New York last week...

Will return for that wonderful western omlette, home fries with sausage gravy and toast...

cost in the $6.00 range...certainly too much home cooked food for me...

Hope you can find it...

Wasn't there an old saw that advised "never eat at a place called Mom's"?

Had breakfast at Mom's last night about 3:30 am...just a couple of drunk women trying to sober up and find their way home.

One of the employee's said they actually liked working there...(Wonder what he was on)..

1/2 an order of biscuits and sausage gravy (to kill for)
side of bacon and a side of sausage...6 cups of coffee and 3 fountain cokes...

hot pecan pie and ice cream...(it held me to noon today)

came to $6.45 gave a $2.00 tip...

If you don't take in the atmosphere at Mom's...you're missing something strange, for sure.
