Beginning tomorrow, Continental Express service returns to Parkersburg making four daily flights to Cleveland and two each on Sat & Sun for a total of 24 flights.

I love flying out of this airport as the security is simple.

The service is owned by Gulfstream and they will go back to the Beechcraft 1900 planes. These seat 19 people with no restroom or flight attendant but it isn't bad at all. That is what we had with service through Pittsburgh many years ago. We had over 10,000 enplanements per year. When they went to fewer flights (two daily on weekdays) with a larger plane, the ridership decreased significantly.

Colgan has had the service the past four years and I have not been able to take one flight out of PKB to the Dulles Hub of United Airlines.

Welcome back, Continental. I can fly from here to Cleveland to Los Angeles round trip for $443. I can leave home and in 25 minutes be checked in and waiting for the flight. My best wishes for this to work because if it doesn't, we might lose air service completely.
