Okay, okay I give up. We have some small towns that have characteristics of small cities. Fortunately, they don't have the negative characteristics of the larger ones. I much prefer to live in my town and take a day trip to a large city in those fairly rare situations where that is necessary. But, I sure wouldn't want to live there.
1) Harpers Ferry (No where else like it beyond the East Coast. Virtually unchanged since the 19th century. Steeped in history. Lots of interesting things in one place.)
2) New Vrindaban ("The Land of Krishna")
3) Point Pleasant (Mothman)
4) White Sulphur Springs (fallout bunker for US Government)
5) Newell (Fiestaware)
6) Flatwoods ("Home of the Green Monster")
7) Williamstown (Fenton glass)
8) Ansted (Mystery Hole)
9) Talcott (I think John Henry was from there)
10) Lake Shawnee (abandoned haunted amusement park)
I'm am so tired of taliking about "WV Cities" that I thought it would be a nice change of pace to reboost this thread.
