Seems like the Mountain State is getting a lot of bad press lately for being a place to which businesses would not want to locate or relocate if they had a choice... due to having a business-unfriendly legal climate and tax structure. Does anyone have any commentary on that? I have been considering buying property in WV and I wouldn't want to go anywhere that was bad for business because I am a businessman.

Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder; so is the "business climate in WV".

Amazon.com and Macy's are too major players that have recently committed to major investments in WV.

Toyota has made two investments in WV: one in Putnam County and one in Wood County.

Contact the WV development offices throughout the state and investigate based on your business. I would have more confidence in them than a message board or forum.
