For #1, government employees drink a lot of coffee. I'm a retried government employee... coffee is a staple. For #2, I've often wondered the same thing. I can think of several locations in Morgantown that would easily support one, but we don't have any either. Maybe they tend to avoid places where Starbucks is prominent? But that would be strange because in large measure they cater to different clientèle.

Both locations are not even a mile apart, and are both in gas stations. I guess that is not as bad as New England where the bloomling things out number people. LOL And I'd say yor are right about Starbucks because Morgantown does have several and DD might be trying to scout out un touched markets like Bridgeport.
But back to the FBI Center, I think that the addition of this can only lead to more growth at Charles Pointe and White Oaks. Both together combine easily for the best business park in the state, easily! After the Louisville game I stoped at Subway and was impressed with how fast that new office building in front of the hospital went up. It wasn't even 6 months, and that think blossomed up from the ground like a early spring weed.
lol

I agree, Clarksburg is cranking now. Combined with Morgantown, it is a double barrel growth cycle in spite of a horrific national economy. Add stibility for NASA into the mix at Fairmont and things are looking very good.
Because Tim Hortens (sp?) Dominates the Teays Valley region.
Yeah we get stuck with Tim Hortons, Teays Valley, Saint Albans, and Cross Lanes. Not quite DD, but still a nice plane. We do have the only Krispy Kreame in the state. Starbucks isn't huge, but we have several, Mall, UC, Thomas Memorial, WVSU, Mariott. Donut Connection is also here.
Back to DD, I have a theory that they are going to build one off the Cross Lanes exit where the old Exxon was. They recently demolished it, and it is fenced off like a construction zone.

Yeah, I agree, there are more donut shops and probably more donut eaters in that area than any other.
