as a kid back in the late60's,early 70's,I remember a mini golf course on rt.9 next to the VA hospital.Anyone else remember this? I would like to know the name and any other info...some pics would be great. Thanks,I know i will get some info here!

This would be before I moved to the area and before I was born, so I can't help you. Maybe commenting and bumping this to the top will get you some more responses though. Good luck!

On a side note, where are there currently putt-putt or mini golf courses around here? I know of Martinsburg Mall, but not sure where else there might be one.

Jay Dee's in Inwood has mini golf...I have never been there though. They also have go karts, an arcade & some sort of water park.

which is a seperate state next door to to The State Of Virginia.

Route 9 is in West Virginia. It crosses I-81 at Exit 16. I think in this case, VA stands for Veterans Administration. The VA hospital in Martinsburg is definitely in West Virginia.

I vaguely remember it I think. Wasn't it on the cemetery side of Rt. 9? If so it turned into a used car lot and now a storage lot for Rockwell's. Never played it though and there is a putt-putt in the Martinsburg Mall as well as Jay Dee's.

ya know, I think I've seen the war memorial & jay dee's courses, but forgot about them since the only one I've played was at the mall. Thanks for reminding me!
