The resort is still on track, and when finished will be a huge advantage id attracting skiers to our state. Also with Corridor H construction still going, the resort can see alot more visitors in the near future.

Canaan resort renovation on track* - News - The Charleston Gazette - West Virginia News and Sports -
I just made a trip there. Those backroads are a joy to drive down and i would recommend them over corridor h which is boring drive.

Canaan area is the most beautiful in the state.

Cranberry glades are in the mountains surrounding the valley. I didnt mean the actualy valley but the area of canaan and nearby parts including seneca rocks.

Also corridor h was empty even during memorial day weekend. Anyway the old winding highways are a blast in a good car as long as a slow driver isnt in front of you.

And if there is a slow driver in front of you, he won't be there for long.
