Well CT my friend, I received a speeding ticket in Sophia in 2005, went to court, got into a tiff taff with City Judge and Chief Of Police, during this incident I heard how they said Sophia and how others from Pineville, Lester, and Mullens have pronounced Sophia as well. Everybody I've heard has always pronounced Sophia(one word almost, no syllables), Kai pronounces it as So-phi-a, stretching each syllable out. The other thing that give it away is I seen another interview with him with KMPH News in California and he states he is from Western Canada, that he didn't like to give out personal information, that why he winked after he said it. Let me see if I can pull up the new interview.
Ah, makes sense then. He's probably an illegal alien, but he's been hanging around long enough to pick up the young person accent. He doesn't want to give out that information because they might boat him back over the border.

He talked in his other interviews of being raped, molested and beaten. I guess the incident he is jail over pushed him over the edge. Hopefully he can get lined out, whatever happens to him.
