Hopefully some people from WV can snag up some of the jobs.... people from all over economically depressed SE Ohio have been stealing jobs around Wheeling for ages. Yet they don't want to live in WV...just use it for jobs. It's time for Ohio to return the favor.

WV could have several such plants, but the state will only support them in Charleston. Ohio has better policy.
Wheeling area residents will get equal access to those jobs but the State of West Virginia will only get personal income tax from them. Other taxes collected will go to Ohio entities and havoc is correct, in large part that is due to short sightedness of our state government. You will notice that much of the gas they will be processing is coming from the Northern Panhandle. When they want to build a plant in the NP they get strung along in Charleston, but as soon as Kanawha is mentioned, tax breaks suddenly appear out of nowhere. Energy companies have seen through this and decided to locate near the source of the valuable gas in nearby Ohio and Pennsylvania so the state loses out on most of the income that would come if the plant were located in West Virginia.

You've said this before. Where is the proof, evidence, press coverage, etc., of this "so-called" government short sightedness? Do you have any? Really, do you have any? Where is the AP photo of the hearings where the legislature strung along the NP? Where is the CNN story with the video of the Energy CEO saying he decided to locate in Ohio or Pennsylvania because the bribes in Charleston cost too much?
Instead of offering something additive to the discussion, you'll keep saying things like this without offering a shred of evidence to back up what you say.

Who do you think controls the corporate media? I realize you rely on Fox news for your info but that is why you don't know about the obvious corruption.
