You may want to ask in the WV forum.

There are lots of forums on this site and you are supposed to pose your questions in the correct forum, not based on where you now live. There is also a work and employment forum but you can probably get a good idea on Charleston jobs in the WV forum. Have you heard of Careerbuilder? I wouldn't advise moving without a job...WV has a lot of poor for a reason. It's why my father left the state when I was just a baby.

Make fun of this, but it is the 2nd poorest state. The economy and health are among the worst in the country.

Moving to much of WV is a bad idea.

Morgantown is an exception, but there are places, like most of WV south of Parkersburg that have almost nothing.

Havoc may be right, I'm waiting for ailments related to breathing poisoned air, eating barium laced vegetables, drinking cancerous water, and eating radiated meat. I may already have them, I guess it's why I'm skinny or otherwise I'd have diabeetus. If those sicknesses don't get me, I'll be hit by a coal truck, struck by a train, or killed by a flash flood while on my way to cash my check. I live a real life version of Final Destination everyday. Hard times out here being Holler Fabulous.

Not all of West Virginia is hardup for jobs. North Central West Virginia (Morgantown area) is among the most prosperous areas in the country with one of the lowest unemployment rates.

All that stuff is probably why my poor ole Grandma only lived to be 87 years old and the other grandmother only made to to 94. Right in the middle of Chemical Valley too.

Maybe me and your Grandmothers are exceptions, Everyday I live in fear, as does everybody who lives South of Parkersburg, that's a large area of death, destruction, and heartbreak.
