OMG i want to get up to that state pen..one day..man i was hoping to make it by the end of oct..boy that place looks wicked even in the day time......

i have been surfing some sites on ghosts tours and spooky adventures..have anyone been to any of these it doesn't matter just as long as in WV..

I do have a question...i am getting 'confused' the 4-h haunted camp i have seen advertise in Forest Hill..is that like a subdivision or an actual town..someone told me it's like 30min. from Fayetteville..and when i pull it up on mapquest as a town it's more like 1h 15min. toward sandstone.....does anyone know what i am talking about and can help me out..Ds is interested and we mite try and tackle it this Sat.nite...................

Oh yea got to stay at cabin 13 in Babcock Park..yep our friends did and they said u can feel the uneasiness of that spirit..they found this info out on the internet of hauntings...............LOL I'll stay in cabin 4 instead..
ConfusedTee,
Are you sure it is Forest Hill you are searching for and not Oak HIll? From what I understand that is real close to Fayetteville and it is also where Hank Williams's driver stopped and realized he was passed away in the backseat of the car after driving all night from a concert . Dont know where that concert was? Does anyone else have anything to add?

Hopped over to your site - you should put a new post here about your Mothman Festival. People are always looking for things to do. Oh wait a minute - it's past isn't it?

What part of The Greenbrier for the ghost? Never heard of it before.

If you enjoy their company don't do anything, but if you don't want them there, tell them to get the he** out and mean it. They're just disembodied beings and have no way to do you any harm without arms and legs. Unless, of course, it's just a trick of lighting that isn't obvious to the naked eye, which is most likely. But if you really do have folks that have dropped their bodies hanging out, it would do them a great service to tell them to stay close to the ground, DO NOT go towards any lights as that is a trap, but head over to the nearest hospital and wait for a new body to come shooting out of a nice mommy. Oh yeah, and try to pick a rich one if possible...or at least a good looking one.

The Greenbrier Ghost is my favorite WV ghost story. I'd like to write a screenplay about it sometime. It would make a good made for TV movie.

I wonder if other states get in the weird conversations we do.

The blanketity-blank-blank mouse just ran not far from my foot again (did it a couple weekends ago). How could it have such nerve to do that in a small and brightly lit room. I think it's possessed.

Of course can't get hubby or dog awake to go chasing it. Did set a trap so hopefully will catch it tonight. Bad thing about a cabin in the mountains - you do at times get critters.

Yeah, they do.

Maybe you should get yourself a cat. My dogs just ignore other creatures.

I think the Greenbrier Ghost lives (haunts?) the Lewisburg area.

Yup... there's a pretty extensive write-up at Wikipedia. The testimony of a ghost was accepted at the murder trial of the person who killed the ghost... erm, who killed the person who then became the ghost.
