This week, delegates introduced a resolution that would make the pepperoni roll, which was created in the north central part of the Mountain State, the official food of West Virginia.
The NCWV staple is becoming the state food!

Yep, our suburb in NCWV.

I for one am proud that Northern WV culture is becoming dominant in WV. The future is looking brighter for all of WV.

Your suburb - LOL - what a joke, but I don't mind NCWV doing better - back when I lived there, outside of Motown, it wasn't.

Pepperoni rolls didn't make it to my section of the state, southwest. Frankly, it's the kind of thing I see here in Philly all the time, doesn't seem to say "WEST VIRGINIA" to me. Although I love pepperoni.

Just what we need, after getting the honor of the most obese state in the nation. That said I love pepperoni rolls too. But made at home and hot out of the oven! Cold store-bought ones don't compare.

Every NCWV town has a bakery that lays claim to having the best pepperoni rolls. It's a matter of town pride, but in truth they're all good.

We just keep forgetting what a wonderful piece of heaven you live in now on Tobacco Road. Thanks for reminding us, but one wonders why you aren't over on the Tarheel board touting the benefits of that special piece of cancer history instead of here making lame efforts to put down our city.

I do agree that Fairmont has the best pepperoni rolls though.
