early one-fifth of babies in West Virginia are born to mothers who used drugs or alcohol while pregnant, a new study shows — evidence of a problem far worse than previous research has revealed
That was pretty rough to watch, that girl was strung out pretty bad, been thru Rainelle a few times. I hope she can get on some type of rehabilitation, suboxone, methadone, or jail to help clean her up and save her life. I've seen this story 1000 times.

I wasn't looking for it. I just ran across it in the newspaper, and it was on tv here in Morgantown. Drugs are an awful problem everywhere, that's true, but you guys in McDowell do seem to have an unusually large amount of them. Could it be hard economic times causing people to look for ways to make a quick buck? Or, is it people doing it to support addictions for which there is little in the way of treatment available in our state?
