Gold-n-Blue, no I haven't heard a thing and I drove by there today and nothing seems to be happening yet other than some brush clearing, which was done a while back.
Is DuPont's (or the company that bought those properties) presence in West Virginia just in Parkersburg, or do they have other operations in the state?

I am guessing you are asking in reference to C8. DuPont is a national company and according to the map attached to the report, C8 can be found in the water of many states.
I'm not a "Big Government" guy generally and I like to see the govt stay out of our personal lives. That being said when a company like this poisons a community and does this kind of damage it would be a beautiful thing if the govt stepped in and made them move their corporate headquarters and all of their office operations and anything else to places like this that they've done stuff like this to. Put them right in the heart of the mess that they made. And make them invest a pretty penny in making these places vibrant and whole. Not going to happen but it sure would be nice if they did.

They also have a large facility on the Kanawha River just southeast of Charleston towards Beckley, but I think that plant does something different.
This place is near and dear to my heart as my mom worked there for over 25 years. And of you in Parkersburg heard rumors of a buyer?
