You're right. For somebody from New Jersey, there are only 5 West Virginia schools that merit consideration... WVU, West Liberty, Shepherd, Jesuit, and Bethany. Since cost is a factor, that rules out Jesuit and Bethany. That leaves WVU, West Liberty, and Shepherd. If they want a larger school with a major national presence, WVU is the logical choice. If they want a smaller school, it is either West Liberty or Shepherd. No need to look further.

I think you left out Concord as well.

When I attended Concord, several students were from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, etc. Most liked it, had some great times and met some good people.

And learned a little bit too.
