where abouts ?? (Marlinton: home, school, taxes)

Me and my wife are looking at moving back to west virginia after spending 2 years in south carolina, the main area we are looking at is pocahontas county,mercer,greenbrier pretty much east of the main interstate what areas are the best on the following facts...
1.taxes
2.gun laws
3.home schooling laws
4.crime
5.jobs- i am a truck driver so would need to be near enough to some companies either way...thanks for the help in advance everyone

there are a good bit of trucking jobs in that area. Burns Trucking is in Marlington, Hinkle Trucking is Seneca Rocks. there are more but can not think of them right now.

We LOVE marlinton............and Burns has been wonderful for us........couldn't ask for a better co. that treats ya like family...Dh finally found his niche in the trucking industry..shewwwww i was getting tired of all the job hopping..............haven't seen it yet in the winter..but i'm not rushing summer either.............

I don't have first hand knowledge like cT does, but I've heard good things around Marlinton about Burns. "Good people", "support their home town", etc.
