The mudslide happened on the south side of Yeager Airport and has taken out parts of the plane-abort system which is designed to stop a plane from running off the end of the mountain. The mudslide was very devastating as it destroyed homes and a church bellow.

.
It will take a long time to clean up the mess and more of the hill could start
to slide down as they remove the mud.

Then they will have to rebuild the mountain again.

It will take a lot time and work to get back to normal.

That is very true. They will need to build a retaining wall that can hold the earth back, instead of letting it sit.
