It shouldn't be the Government's place to "redistribute" income. We need to do away with the IRS and impose a flat tax of 10%. The rich would actually end up paying more taxes that way if deductions and exemptions are removed altogether, and the poor would pay less because they make less, but still pay something for the services they receive. I don't have a problem with somebody using their own money to finance a privy outside of Tel Aviv. I do believe they shouldn't be able to do it on the backs of American taxpayers with writeoffs. Money made here should be taxed here. Spend the residual as you please.
