Just a reminder, local brewers can get their beer to market with the now legal retail sales of growlers. This is a huge step for craft and local brewing communities and a huge win for the people and freedom.
I was in a brew pub in Gettysburg a couple weeks ago, and they sold growlers. In fact, they sold a growler and 4 glasses imprinted with the brewery's name and logo for $12. It seemed quite a bargain, so I bought one.

They are giving away growlers at Black Sheep tomorrow. There will be more giveaways as more retailers come online. Capitol Market will be ready next week. Several permits are still winding through the ABCC.
Charleston Brewing named a beer after the State Senator that sponsored the legislation. It will be available in growlers tomorrow.
This is great! I actually live fairly close to Big Timber Brewing in Elkins so I can just walk a few minutes to get one if I feel so inclined, but it would be more convenient for sure with retail sales. They've yet to make a beer I don't like.
I got my growler of Walter's Wheat, met the Senator, congratulated the lawyer that drafted the bill, and watched the crowd swarm into Black Sheep as the celebration started at 4:00.
I saw as many as 5 growlers being filled at the same time on their 8 taps. This change is definitely good for West Virginia.
I had a chance to try some Big Timber beer at a brew fest in April. I'll have to agree with GHO that they make some awesome brew! (Nice people too.)
