Not well. Think it was due to their current debt.

Wish they included the franchises in their proposal and not just the chili. Would love to see the franchises spread further out.

Plus, they thought the investment they were seeking ($400K for 10% of the chili business) would be enough to take the product national. It sounded like they're running the business by the seat of their pants, no market research or test markets, etc.

And they had about $700K debt.

Mark Cuban, however, was effusive in his praise for the fact that they built a profitable business, starting from a tiny diner in Webster Springs. He just didn't think the deal, as presented, was a good one.

At least they didn't get ripped like "Hans and Franz" the body-builders.
