This is what greeted me at the beginning of the trail. Judging from the tire marks, this person tried to drive up the trail and slid backwards over the bank. This is a HIKING trail.

And lest anyone care to make any WV jokes, NC plates. :)

It was probably a N C basketball fan trying to commit suicide after the Duke game the other night...certainly missed that 'No Vehicle' sign...The driver will tell her mom it was stolen. Is that clothing in the bushes or a help sign?

I couldn't figure out if the towel was a disabled vehicle sign but I mean that was already pretty obvious. :)

That's what happens when car manufacturers aren't careful with their advertising. When ya tell folks it'll go where no vehicle has gone before... this is what happens. There's always gonna be some ****** that doesn't know a line of bull when he hears it - or know that a "minimal level of intelligence is required" for safe operation of any vehicle.
