Marshall County WV area Land or Home for Sale (Moundsville: mineral rights, real estate)

I am looking for land around Cameron WV. My parents moved to Cameron a few years ago and I would like to be closer to them. I live in North East Ohio. The 3 hour drive is just too far with today’s Gas prices. I really don’t have much money to get started with. I am just looking for a small place. I would like to be able to drill a well and have septic. I would be happy with 2 acres but more would be GREAT. I currently have a budget of about 10,000. If you have any land or know anyone interested in selling some please let me know. If you know some farmers out there that would be willing to sell a few acres send them my way. Good luck with your search - looks like it's not been greatly successful.
Since your parents already live there, surely they know people. Have them start the word-of-mouth quest.

This may sound silly but... are there any gas stations (I mean the old fashion kind with guys hanging out etc), feed stores, etc. (use your imagination here) in the area? Stop in and chat with those guys. It may take time but bet you would be surprised. Surely Joe knows Tom, Tom's mom passed away a couple years ago and had a couple acres. Tom's not really thought about selling but he may be interested.

I am originally from that area, which has seen an incredible economic boost from Marcellus Shale activity. One side issue though is the price of real estate, which is much higher now that there are valuable mineral rights involved.
