Now I'm a Fayette county Pennsylvania born fellow and lived in it or nearby most of my life. I wear the colors so to speak and proudly so. So, I told you that to tell you this....

At a political fundraiser in Fayette county a couple years ago, a well respected and high ranking Pa politician leaned over and told this joke to the fellow next to him.

"I know how to raise the average IQ of Pennsylvania and West Virginia residents at the same time"

"How"

"Give Fayette county to West Virginia"

True, swear it's true. No harm intended by this poster!

It's amazing how many Fayette counties there are in this country. Fayette co.,WV, Fayette co.,KY (where Lexington is), Fayette co.,PA, Fayette co, NC. I'm sure there are many more but these are ones I know of.

I'd take Fayette County back in a New York minute...before the Mason-Dixon Line was cut it was part of Virginia.

True enough. Award the poster a beverage of his choice.
