Another slam WV article

"To understand life expectancy fall, start in West Virginia"

"If you want to understand why U.S. life expectancy is declining, West Virginia is a good place to start. The state is a bellwether of bad health, portending major problems years before they became severe nationally."

So are you saying that the article is not factual?

Are you objecting because it's not saying good things about WV?

Hmm. It really doesn't seem to be bashing WV, so much as pointing out a sad reality. In many cases WV has suffered first, then it becomes national.

That said, there is so much negative material on WV out there that I certainly see why some of its people are sore to the touch.

In this case I think the aim of the article is to help rather than to hinder. The first step to solving a problem is acknowledging that the problem exists, and getting people on board to repair the wound.

Read that article on Cleveland.com. Talk about depressing. This country has some real issues and it seems to be getting worse.

And Cleveland, like a lot of Northeastern Ohio, is one of the places some in West Virginia migrated to.
