Also, this is an Eastern Panhandle thread...
Who put Huntington and Montgomery in the parenthesis part?

Don't know what is going on or rather what isn't at the proposed site of Weis, etc
DH said looks like weeds taking over.
Did the funding for this project get pulled? I may have missed reading about that in The Journal.

I think it has to do with "phases" of the project seeking approval. I know phase 1 of the project was all of the ground/infrastructure work. They could just be waiting for phase 2 permits to go through.

It is disheartening to see all of the activity happening for months...now it's all tall grass and weeds.

I am surprised they put the top layers of asphalt and paint on the new roads on site. Those will get ripped up by all of the equipment once building construction starts. Usually in big housing or commercial developments they'll put a rough layer of asphalt down and wait until construction ends to cap it.

Could the growth be responsible for more of Martinsburg//Berkeley County making more of a presence on tv?
By that I mean, I'm currently watching the Steelers game on DirecTv -- opps, correction Comcast, and was pleasantly surprised to see two tv [commercials] spots...on the local fire departments and then, I think for a vision specialist in the Martinsburg area. Cool, either way though.

My bad. DH switched when I wasn't paying attention or wasn't in the room at the time. 99% of the time, usually on DirecTV. I'm not as familiar with Comcast programming.

Great news on both the nanobrewery and escape room.

I've said this before on one of the threads, but I'm shocked Berkeley County does not have a full size brewery. Literally every other county surrounding us already have multiple breweries.

When my 20-something year-old friends come visit, that's what they look for. Nightlife and breweries where they can meet people their age.

Look at the first article on this page, about Rippon Brewing. This is the place for news about craft beer abd breweries around West Virginia.

Great 👍😊 Looking forward to this.

Haven’t been to the new pub that just opened over at the Bavarian Inn.

Harper’s Ferry Brewing and Bear Chase Brewing (both nice places) are two of our favorites.

We miss Good Ta Go [PA]. However. we’ve recently discovered a new place to get our beers. Altho I do miss their pretzels.
Getting good selection of beers (bottles/cans or growlers), try District East in Frederick, Maryland.
Owner/s //Managers both friendly. Also have a chiller on premises. I think it’s free to chill your beer selection.
