Walk through the Covered Bridge that was a focus of McClellan’s Campaign in Western Virginia
and the town that was the site of the first land battle of the War.
Simulated amputations through out weekend. Craft and Food Vendors. Music every evening.
Grant, Stonewall, Mark Twain to visit.
Friday May 31: Walking History, fireman’s parade.
Saturday June 1: Camps open to the public, Ladies tea, little soldiers' battle, skirmish at bridge, reenactor’s dinner, ball, night canon fire and skirmish.
Sunday June 2: 1861 church service, Battle on original site.
